Hunter Valley Coal Fields

The site required lighting to primarily alert drivers on a 100 Km speed zone. There was no availability 230 volt supply within economical distance to trench/cable to the site. The lighting has  Solar load of  80 watts Type 2 distribution, to ensure adequate and compliant lighting.

The PV array and Lithium battery were designed to ensure 3 days redundancy.

The PV array were mid mounted on the poles to utilise the use heavy duty galvanised sections. This minimised windage and deflection on the poles.

Two major intersections were lit, ensuring safety to road users.
